Just Another Monday

Some days are interesting with two little ones.
Days where so much goes wrong,
that all you can do is laugh.
Days where you wake up and....
the phone and internet aren't working...
your three year old breaks a huge glass hurricane 5 minutes before you are to walk out the door and gets blood on the carpet, and glass everywhere...
said three year old clogs the toilet with HALF a roll of toilet paper...
the baby empties all of the bathroom cabinets...
you get your new lens filter in the mail only to discover you ordered the wrong size...
your three year old doesn't nap and spends nap time getting into mischief in his room....
the front yard starts flooding because the drains are clogged...
soon it looks like a lake out there,
so you roll up your sweat pants and go outside in the freezing rain barefoot,
because you don't have any rain boots,
you wade through the lake to the drains and spend 20 minutes unplugging them and helping the front yard to drain....
meanwhile your children are running wild inside and decide to dig into the Christmas presents....
you discover a leak in the ceiling because it's been raining for a week,
so hubby goes up in the attic to inspect, and finds FIVE leaks (hopefully all easy fixes)....
At this point, what else can you do but laugh???
Seriously laugh...
and pour yourself one seriously big glass of wine....
break out the play dough and camera....
cook dinner together....
and laugh.

In case you're wondering,
the salad has fresh candied walnuts, craisens, oranges and gorgonzola.
