October Randoms

I'll be honest, I love the things about fall, but I'm so busy working every spare second that I don't get to enjoy it as much as I'd like.  I am trying really hard to just take things one day at a time, and enjoy the small moments that are a part of every day.  Here are some of them from the past month :)

I got to go on a fieldtrip with Alayna's class to Snowline Orchard in Oak Glen.

Our neighbors had a little block party, which was so nice because not a lot of people know each other in our neighborhood.  It was really nice to meet some people.  The people hosting it, the husband makes bows and he let Ethan shoot one.  He did really well.

This year was a non party year for the big kids, so we let them choose something fun to do instead.  We decided that we'd take them to Legoland in October as a joint birthday gift.  Kids are free in October with the purchase of adult park hopper passes (which are still expensive), but it's cheaper than normal.   My mom joined us and we had a really great day.  The kids all had a blast.

Ethan loved this roller coaster.  His first time riding one.

The first weekend in October, we were so blessed to be able to get away for three nights to the beach... our happy place  We are very thankful to Marlene for letting us use some of her time share points.

We put in a nice full day at the beach before even checking into our timeshare, which made the trip feel even longer in a good way :)  September and October at the beach are the best!!!

The next day we woke up early and headed out for a fun adventure.  We drove to Oceanside where we caught the train and took it to San Diego.  During the month of October kids are free for most everything in San Diego, so we took advantage!  The kids loved the experience of taking the tra…
